Visit of our French friends in May 2019
We enjoyed a wonderful three days hosting a party of sixteen of our friends from the Pont-a-Mousson, Lorraine Club Thursday 2nd May through to Saturday 4th May
The visit took in a reception at the home of FIley Club President, Liz Butler, on the morning of Thursday 2nd, an informal meal get together on the Thursday evening at St. Mary's Church Hall, Filey. Our annual International Meeting on Friday morning at the COmmunity Centre, Wold Newton, was followed by buffet lunch at the Anvil Arms, where, amongst other things, our French friends enjoyed the local Wold Top Brewery Wold Gold beer. Our traditional Celebration Evening was held at The White Lodge Hotel on Friday evening, and on Saturday the action moved to Muston, for a viewing of the Tour de Yorkshire and lunch before our freinds headed off to Hull in the afternoon to start their journey home.

Pont-à -Mousson Rotary Club Twinning and Exchange Visits
back In 2018 we celebrated our 40th anniversary of the twinning between our two clubs during a memorable weekend hosted by the Pont-a-Mousson Club 17th to 21st May
