Third Rotakids group formed in Batley

A brand new Rotakids has been formed at Park Road school in Batley


The group photo includes our DG Nigel Arthurs, Batley Rotary President William Bottomley, District RotaKids Officer Pat Taylor, with Headteacher Julie Hampson and the Mayor and Consort of Kirklees, Cllr Gwen and Ken Lowe, along with eighteen RotaKids. And the other photo is of the President and Vice President of the new RotaKids cutting their special cake.

ROTAKIDS

back RotaKids is a very exciting project to be involved in. This involves young students aged seven to eleven, who, whilst enjoying being a member of a club, also learn about Citizenship, Maths, and English.

Our Pop Up Games Stall, for young and old, is available to support local events, big and small. We have been a regular fixture at the Tockwith & District Show and the Wetherby Dickensian Market for many years, and smaller events too.

Every year we send a young person on a Rotary-run training and development course, they come back transformed.
