Early evening meeting - 5.30pm

On Thursday 14^th March 2019 President Anne Sampson, welcomed 13 Cub Rotarians to this our 2nd "casual" evening meeting held at Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes.

On reception was Geoff Sampson.

This was a good meeting with a lot of discussion and some good ideas and great fellowship. During the meeting we raised questions relating to the Council Reports which had previously been submitted.

The Annual Kids out day at the Deer Park near Cupar has been confirmed for Wednesday 12^th June 2019.

The Sportsman's Dinner will take place on the 12th April at the Gilvenbank Hotel tickets costing £30. Please contact Iain Haywood if you require tickets. iainhaywood@rollos.co.uk.

The High School Quiz with Auchmuty, Glenwood, Glenrothes High’s, Levenmouth and Waid Academy’s taking part was held last Wednesday at Auchmuty High School with Levenmouth Academy winning the competition – well done to them and thanks once again to Alan Pithie and Auchmuty High School for allowing us to hold the competition in their excellent facilities. Many thanks to Linda Ballingall for being a late replacement for organiser and question master Jim Boyd and all the Rotarians who turned up to assist on the night.

This coming week Thursday 21st March 2019 will be a lunch time meeting to be held in Gilvenbank Hotel, meeting at 12.45pm for a prompt start at 12.55. Our speaker this week will be Rebekah Haldane speaking about The Sailors Society with brief feedback to members on Council reports.
