The first leg of the annual Rotary Harry Rankin Fishing Competition will take place again at The Lake of Menteith on Monday 3rd June, the second leg is Monday 2nd September 2019. This friendly competition is open to ALL Rotarian’s in Scotland, District 1010, 1020 and 1230, a day of good fishing and good fellowship.
We need to confirm as soon as possible the number of boats we require.
We normally have 2 persons per boat but can increase this to 3 per boat if requested.
You will be paired up with another member on the day.
Fishing starts at 09.30am until 17.00pm
We meet for a meal afterwards at the Lion & Unicorn, Thornhill, Stirlingshire.
The cost is £50.00 per leg, £100.00 for both outings.

Santa's Grotto was a partnership event with Gardenwise Plant and Garden Centre, Dumfries. Every weekend in December we provided a Santa's Grotto. An amazing £18,000 has been raised in total.

moreAn amazing £84,000 has been raised for local health causes over 9 successful years of the Run4Health. A partnership project with the NHS and Dumfries and Galloway Council as a truly family fun event.
more12 hour Cyclathon Challenge to cycle the distance from Tesco Dumfries to Tesco Stranraer and back. Our cyclists managed a distance of 267.2 miles and an amazing £2,069.09 was raised for Prostate Buddies D&G and Prostate Scotland.
moreWe have organised Dragon Boats Festivals on River Nith, Dumfries in partnership with Dumfries Multi Cultural Society. All proceeds were provided to local good causes.
