Youth Speaks competition, which was held on Wednesday evening the 16th of January at Myddelton College, Denbigh.
There were a total of seven teams competing from Denbigh High School, St Brigid's School and Myddelton College - five junior/intermediate and two senior teams.
The intermediate competition was won by the team from Denbigh High who transfixed us with how we are not alone.The senior competition was won by St Brigid’s with their post truth rendition, which eloquently entertained us. Our individual speaker of the night, Molly Mersino was astounding and a star for the future - her passion and developed argument would put us all to shame.
Thank you to our questioners and panel of judges for their very difficult task of choosing a winning team.
