On Thursday 24th January 2019 at our monthly evening meeting President Anne Sampson welcomed 60 guests, our own Rotarians and friends along with guests from The Rotary Club of Leven including their President Scott Dryburgh, Parents, Pupils and teachers from each of the three High Schools which was held at the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes.

On reception, this week were Lindsay Roy and Geoff Sampson.

We were thoroughly entertained by the very talented pupils in what was our annual Scottish evening. President Anne Sampson welcomed the gathering and introduced Wilna Roger who gave the Selkirk Grace and along with Anne had pulled the evening together. Wilna introduced all the artists in what turned out to be an exceptionally enjoyable evening. Brian Johnson gave the vote of thanks. Well done to all including the Gilvenbank Hotel who served up an excellent Scottish meal. SVP's wife Lesley MacDonald won the guess the weight of the cake (made by Wilna Roger)

This coming week on Thursday 31st January 2019 will be lunch time meeting to be held at the Gilvenbank Hotel. please meet 12.45pm for starting at 12.55pm on reception will be Bill Wooton and Geoff Sampson. Our speaker this week will be John Kerr from Fife shelter box speaking about Shelter boxes.
