Scottish rugby coach, Gregor Townsend spoke about his career and took part in a Q&A session. St Andrew University Medical Building in Booth Lecture Theatre.


The evening raised over £5000 for St Andrews Rotary Club's main charity this year ---- the Arclight project to supply innovative low cost ophthalmoscope devices to students, nurses and medical workers in Malawi.   Working with Dr Andrew Blaikie of the University Global Health Team who helped develop these £10 efficient devices, the Rotary Club of St Andrews plan to supply 3000 of the devices with training.  The focus will be in the Lilongwe area of Malawi working with the Rotary Club of Lilongwe.
