The next Fine Art Sale wil be held bewteen 4th & 6th September.

Customers who subscribe to receive the Auction catalogue are invited to a private preview evening about a week before the sale and traditionally, though no charge is made for this facility, those attending are given the opportunity to donate to a selected charity. The Rotary Club of Newcastle upon Tyne have the privilege to be involved in the collection at the autumn preview evening this year.

The Club was collecting on behalfof the charity, Newcastle Vision Support, which is our current President's chosen charity for his year of office. Formed in 1867 the charity exists to help visually impaired people to be and stay independent  through information and learning activities , keeping in touch with people services, social groups and empowerment work. Formerly known as the Newcastle Society for Blind People, this charity has been suppted by our Rotary Club for many years. It is a completely independent local society proudly serving over 1,000 visually impaired people in Newcastle and the surrounding area. Though it has no financial connection with the RNIB , Henshaws, Action for Blind People , the Macular Society or any other national organisation, it does work closely in partnership with these and other organisations.
