Business Meeting

We had one visitor at our business meeting today. Raise Khan was a guest of Mo Sadiq.
We agreed to a request by the International Committee to give a donation of £1,000 to the Rotary GB&I relief effort in respect of the Kerala flood disaster.
On behalf of the Membership Committee, Jenny Black introduced the Club’s new Business Partners’ Scheme, which will enable us to forge closer links with local businesses for mutual benefit, particularly in the help both we and businesses give to meet the needs of the local community.
In addition to the usual committee reports, Graham Furnival and Alison Moses gave a presentation on the proposed Father Christmas experience at the Hylands House Frost Fair. Members were asked to put Thursday 29 November to Sunday 2 December in their diaries.
