Mount Fuji and Asho-no-look Lake

John's account of a holiday to Japan last November begins in bustling Tokyo before moving on to Hakone National Park and iconic Mt. Fuji. He then travels to Takayama in the scenic Japanese Alps via pretty Matsumoto Castle and a wasabi (Japanese horseradish) farm before taking the Bullet Train to former capital city Kyoto. Visits to Nara, Hiroshima and its very moving Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park. Miyajima Island with its huge red Torii Gate were next on the itinerary before concluding the trip in Osaka, Japan's third-largest city.
