New Members Join

Meeting of Stirling Rotary club 6.7.18

President Sandy Farquharson greeted members and prospective members to this Business Meeting (a meeting with no speaker).
The prospective entrants were new Rotarian Liliane McGeoch from Kippen, returning Stirling member Alan Bradshaw and, transferring from Cardiff club, Rotarian Alastair Morrison. All received a warm reception from those present.
The President threw the floor open to a general discussion about the future, particularly the balance between our giving to local and international causes. It was also pointed out that the concept of Service was at least as important as Giving, an example being the provision of minibus drivers for the ARION swimming club.
