· Rotary Vision 2020- We Care for Eyes is a our clubs main international project.
· It's a 2 year project where we have partnered with Rotary Club of Sylhet Central to help cure and change the lives of the poor who are avoidably blind within the rural ares of Sylhet.
· It's a matter of concern that 80% of the visually impaired people live in rural areas. BUT 90% of the doctors and medial officials are located in towns and cities. Thus preventing the poor to access the solution.
· We are fundraising to start opening eye camps in the beginning of 2019 where we can provide the poor with either medicine and glasses or a cataract operation if needed where they will be referred to a selected hospital. Then after a final check up, they will be given medicine and glasses.
