Celebration of Youth Night

Mon, Apr 8th 2019 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

To be held this year in Coleg Powys, we have a varied evening planned, based around the Youth Competitions.


Tonight we celebrate the young people who have entered the Rotary Competitions this year.  We have a Young Chef who went on to the District Competition and won that, followed by the Regional Final where he was highly commended for his cooking.  We will be served his winning menu as our meal.  Also joining us are the Young Musician and Young Singer winners of our competition. We have the young person who attended RYLA telling us about his experiences and the Young Writer whose composition won first prize. We will also be entertained by the Newtown Silver Band Youth Section.  In fact it promises to be an exciting, fast moving evening.

The International Committee will continue to support specific projects as well as fund raising to enable the club to send funds to locations as and when needed, such as in emergency response situations.
