A special Garden Party with Lunch for Rotarians -A KIND THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT WE HAVE GIVEN THEM OVER THE YEARS.

REPORT BY MIKE CLARKE. PHOTOS BY LAWRIE LANSDELL

"Tools For Self Reliance’ held a superb Garden Party for all their Rotary friends, who had been so helpful with donations and securing a district grant, for their Africa Projects.

About 60 of us arrived on 11th July, including Nicola Antoni, Lawrie & Jan Lansdell and Mike & Sue Clarke, from New Forest Rotary.
And it was really worth going.
Not only did we feast on finger sandwiches and clotted cream scones (!!) but we were also treated to very informative presentations AND a workshop tour, seeing a host of refurbished saws, spanners, sewing machines, carpentry kits etc. There was a real buzz about the place and the passion and commitment of the staff and volunteers really shone through.
We can do more to help them with their admirable work"   .Mike
