District Governor Elect Tony Graves invites you to join him at our District Conference in Southport. The Conference team have listened to the feedback from you following last years conference and have made some significant changes this year.
Accomodation costs were an issue for many so this years conference will start at 10.00am on Saturday morning, allowing people to travel to Southport on Saturday if they wish. As there will be no Friday afternoon session, we suggest that Friday evening is the perfect time to organise a Club Fellowship event, something else that you told us you would like.

Registration for conference is available for any Rotarian and their guests (including husbands and wives) and for Associate Members, members of Satellite Groups and Rotary Alumni associated with clubs in District 1285. Please remember that you and all your guests, including husbands, wives and partners, need to be registered. There will be discounted rate of £27 per person if you register before 30th September 2018. After that date the cost will be £30 per person. Rotaract members and Alumni can register at no cost. We have reduced the regisration fee this year as there is no Friday night entertainment but as in previous years there is a single registration rate for the two days, payable by all Members, Satellite members, Associate members and non-rotary guests including spouses and partners.
Rooms at the Ramada can only be booked through the Conference Director, David Ellis, at the special rate of £189 per double room per night for Dinner, B&B. Contact him by email email@example.com. There is a wide choice of hotel accommodation in Southport, for any hotel except the Ramada you should contact them directly.

It's early days yet, but we have some brilliant speakers planned. The first, already confirmed, is Dr Andy Cope who describes himself as an author, teacher and learning junkie. Our first confirmed Rotary speaker is Fiona Bassett, founder member of Wrexham Glyndwr club. Fiona has a great story. She attended the RI Assembly as her DG mum's partner, directly on her return she formed this new club. Keep looking at the programme page on the right, as new speakers are confirmed, we'll post their details there.
The reason you are asked for your hotel name is so that your registration pack can be delivered there and be available when you check in. As we anticipate that some delegates will arrive on Saturday morning, you will also be asked if you would prefer to pick up your registration pack and name badges at the Registration desk rather than have it delivered to your hotel. If your hotel is not listed, put "Other" in the hotel box and you will be able to pick up your registration pack and badges from the Registration Desk in the Conference Centre during any of the plenary sessions.
If you cancel before 13th October 2018 you can apply to the Conference Registrar, Roger Glew, for a refund of your registration fee less an administrative charge of £5 per person, using the contact form below. After that date refunds can only be made for serious illness or bereavement of close family members. You will need to contact your hotel directly to confirm their cancellation policy and tell them that you are cancelling. The Conference Registrar cannot do this for you.
You can register up to 30 people using the online form and for most of the delegates it will only be necessary to type their name and click the "Add another delegate" button. When you have entered the names of all of your party just move to the next question.
No, you need to complete the session you have started otherwise you will not get the payment options and the final confirmation that your registration is complete. If you close your browser window before submitting, you will need to start again from the beginning. Unless you are entering a very large number of delegates, this should only take you a few minutes. If you think you may be short of time, just elect to register a few delegates and then return on another occasion to do another registration.
It may be that the email has been put in your spam folder. This depends on the browser settings on your computer, have a look and if it's there you can move it back to your inbox. If you are still having problems, use the contact form below and the Conference Team can confirm your registration. If the site is not working correctly, close it down and try again later, sometimes, particularly at peak internet times, the programme may be slow or stop working. Your data will be secure, it is not transmitted until you click the Submit button and it then stored on a secure encrypted cloud server that can only be accessed by password.
