Friday, December 7^th - Christmas Dinner:

A big thanks to Sue for a very successful Christmas Dinner; the magician was magic.

Sunday, December 9^th – Christmas Collection:

The Christmas Collection becomes more successful each year.     Many thanks to everyone who turned out to help, to Robert S. for driving the sleigh and to him and Gill for very welcome mulled wine and mince pies half way round.     Thanks also to Herne and Broomfield Parish Council for the loan of the trailer and to Jarle Tatt for providing the cards at no charge.    If you have any photographs of Santa doing his thing, could you let Sue have them.      Jenny passed on thanks from the families to which we gave hampers and the Food Bank sent a big thank you for the food supplied to it.

Sunday, December 23^rd – Car Parking  at Whitstable:

If you have signed up to help, please don’t forget to turn up for car parking on Sunday, December 23^rd wearing your Christmas hat and other gear.    It should be very busy day but Godfrey should be okay for help if everyone remembers.

Friday, December 28^th - Breakfast at the Lounge, Tankerton:

Please note the change of date to Friday, December 28^th.      It is not too late if you would like to go but have not signed up but please contact David M. without delay.

Friday, February 15^th – Ten Pin Bowling:

Sue proposed that dinner be arranged at the Alimo Restaurant after the bowling on February 15^th and this was agreed.     She will circulate the menu in advance and a sheet will be put in the folder.

Visitors and Greetings:

Dave brought greetings from RC Herne Bay and Spyros from RC Saffron Waldon

Raffle:

Sue made off with the bottle of wine and Nick had a box of fruit sweets.

Master of Alms:

Nick whizzed around with his little car and almost everyone had to pay up.
