The evening was to celebrate not only President Tim's second term in that ofice but the birthday of the youngest member of New Forest Rotary Club - Tim himself.
The Princess Caroline had a capacity crowd of Rotarians and Guests and we had an excellent dinner with entertainment from 'The Violets' a much appreciated trio of hip swinging singers. Tim stuck to his promise of no long speeches and a good time was had by all. After dinner we moved to the lower deck and found The Violets were alrady there and we danced (!) until 10 pm.
When we boarded there was a brisk chop on the water and predictably when Princess Caroline sailed she stayed in the Test and upper Southampton Water away from the lumpy seas. There were certainly no complaints.
The pictures tell the story.
