Mairhi Trickettt

Thu, Apr 12th 2018 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Late change to programme with SVP Mairhi Trickett speaking to members

Mairhi gave a short presentation on a project she was involved with in Orkney – providing people with mental health problems an alternative to attending a simple” Drop In “service. Members instead ran all aspects of the service including a cafe, garden, reception area and took part in weekend activities and further education. This then helped many to go forward into work or at least have a productive day in the company of others. She then gave members a quiz with a twist on the local Hawick Paper – Past President Jim Walker proved to be a star!
