Speaker of the day - Canon Thomas Woodhouse

Objects that have little value, other than the memories they hold

Canon Thomas Woodhouse talking to the club

Canon Thomas Woodhouse talked to the club about objects that people hold dear, but which might have no financial value. For the Canon, that included an acorn he picked up the day he left home at 18 to go off to learn to be a chef. He felt that for everyone, memories are kindled by objects and many people hold on to these apparently worthless items. He answered a number of questions, and gave a very thoughtful and considered talk and was thanked by Jane on behalf of the club.
