Feb 2018 Club Business Meeting at the Arundel Hotel. £17 each.

Mon, Feb 26th 2018 at 5:45 pm - 8:00 pm

A 2 course meal and Club discussion. General Host - John Helmsing Cashier - David Adamson.

The Arundel House Hotel is hosting us tonight.- Chesterton Road, Cambridge  CB4 3AN.

We were served a tasty meal in a private room and then an opportunity to discuss District and Club matters.

Having caught up with reports from our committees we had a very interesting presentation from Trevor.  He is co-ordinating a new project for the Projects Committee in co-operation with the excellent charity Wheelpower.  They are based at Stoke Manderville Hospital where they work with people who have spinal injuries.  They encourage them to be as active as possible and to enjoy every sport possible.  This project aims to run a Day of Wheelchair Sports in Cambridge.  We are seeking funding and a suitable indoor venue.

In order to kickstart our fundraising Trevor has sourced 20 super large Easter Eggs with an idea of finding pubs and shops who would sell £1 tickets for a raffle.  Hopefully £100 can be raised per egg with profits going to the project fund.  20 egg guardians have been found and distribution can now begin.

The Egg Draws will be done at Easter.   Good Luck All !

Park in the Hotel Car Park behind the main building and on the road infront.  Meet in the Bar Area.

Book with Suzie as usual.

Menu :  (with Veggie, Gluten Free and Dairy free options)
