District quiz 2nd Round 28th November 2017

Tuesday the 28th November saw battle lines drawn between the Rotary Clubs of Ruthin and Denbigh, as the second round of the District Quiz got under way with Rotarian Gwynfor as quiz master and Rotarians Gwyrfai and Hywel as time keeper and scorer respectively. Unfortunately (or is that possibly fortunately), Denbigh were not the victors this time with Ruthin streaming ahead by the end with a score of 73 against Denbigh's 43. Well done the Ruthin team.

Also that evening we had an excellent presentation given by Elgan Watkin Jones on his work as an architect. Elgan has been very much involved in the updating of "Yr Ysgwrn" - Hedd Wyn's home, and gave us an insight on how the work progressed to what it is today. Thank you Hywel for arranging this presentation.
