Rotary Tree of Light - December 2018

For those who have lost someone near and dear to them, the Rotary Tree of Light is a special way of marking thanks for the happy memories held, particularly at Christmas. The tree will be illuminated from late November to early January.

For those amongst us who have lost someone near and dear to them, the Rotary Tree of Light celebration is a special way of marking thanks for the happy memories held, particularly at Christmas. The Tree of Light, located outside the present Linlithgow Library, will be illuminated from late November to early January. Dedications will be placed on boards in its window.

Donor Envelopes can be collected from various points along Linlithgow High Street and other premises. Those who donate will be helping local voluntary groups supporting those living with dementia or chronic age-related illness and their carers.

This year, every penny of every pound donated will go to four worthy causes – Linlithgow Link, Linlithgow Day Care Centre, The League of Friends of St Michael’s Hospital and Carers of West Lothian. Any Gift Aid that we are permitted to collect will be distributed to other worthy causes in Linlithgow.
