Assembly & Handover Meeting

Thu, Jul 5th 2018 at 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Past President Robert Sissons handed over to Pat McFarlane who becomes our new President for 2018/19

The presidency of Chestfield Rotary was handed over to Pat McFarlane by Robert Sissons on Thursday evening at Chestfield Golf Club.

Pat owns and runs a local driving school and is dedicated to helping the community. She is an especially 'crafty' lady, who teases and spins her own fleece, crochets, basket weaves and plays in the local Samba Pele Band, to list just a few of her interests. She has also promised to change the colour of her hair monthly and various people including her daughter, have pledged money to the Rotary for every change of colour.

Sue Varygas became Pat's President elect.

A convivial evening was had by all and a delicious carvery meal followed by summer pudding and ice cream greatly enjoyed.

Congratulations Pat you will make a super President.
