President Frank has Charter Night cued up!

The 84th RC Clitheroe Charter Night was held at Eaves Hall Country Club Hotel, West Bradford, in fact the folks at Eaves Hall are Frank's next door neighbours!
Guests included Clitheroe Town Mayor, Councillor Maureen Fenton and her Consort, Rebecca Fenton, Deputy Mayor of Ribble Valley, Stuart Carefoot, Rotary District 1190 District Governor, Larry Branyan, Representatives of other local Service Organisations including Round Table, Lions International and East Lancashire Rotary Clubs. MC was Rtn. Bill Honeywell. Other Speakers were Rtn. Victoria Staples, Rtn. Howard Blackburn, DG Larry and President Frank.

President Frank's special guest, who responded on behalf of the guests, was Fr. Frankie Mulgrew.
You had to be there to understand why our pictures show a Catholic Priest with a train set around his head and a car licence plate fitted with curtains! And if you look closely at the baby picture he's holding up, you may be able to recognise his famous father. Fr. Frankie entertained guests with tales from his past, as a stand up comedian and in his vocation as a Priest, currently working in the Royal Blackburn Hospital as a Chaplain and a past Priest at St. Michael and St. John's RC Church, Clitheroe. So if you are in the RBH as a patient or visitor, don't be surprised if you see a Priest using some unusual methods and props to cheer people up!
A good time was had by all, culminating in Frank presenting Frankie with a cheque for £250 for Mary's Meals, a charity supported by Rotary and Fr. Frankie.
