This is what a Euro looks like. It is a kind of Australian marsupial.
Dadvi says that half of one of these was left in the basket after his dinner parties. YUK!!
Was it road kill?
But maybe I could have it for supper … ??
Wow! Rotary came to me!
Dadvi prepared, cooked and served supper for 38 Rotarians and wives at our home over three evenings! The aim was to have a good time (we did! I made some new friends!), and to raise some money for the President’s charity – the school and orphanage in Ethiopia. Members paid the usual price for supper at the Marina, and when the food costs were taken out that left nearly £500 for the charity! (and half a euro … )
Pretty nifty!!
It seems like a straightforward way to raise money.
But why did Dadvi say he was too tired to go on our usual long walk on Friday morning??
