Council: Weekly meeting

Thu, Oct 5th 2017 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Club Council meets at 5.45, before weekly meeting

In the unavoidable absence of a speaker at last week's Rotary meeting President Scott Elliot put the club in the hands of Rotarian Ron Sutherland.  He organised a mock quiz which resulted in a pleasant, informative evening with plenty of banter when members showed their humourous and entertaining side by the original, intuitive and often incorrect answers to the questions which added to the pleasure of the exercise.  The club members offered their support by their personal donations to the RYLA sponsored walk in the Pentland Hills last Sunday in which Ron and Pat Sutherland took part.  The club also made a donation of £100 to 'Bikes for Africa'.
