Kids Out

Wed, Jun 13th 2018 at 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Annual outing to Longleat with children from Westbury Infant and Juniors schools.

Among the 1064 special Kids who descended on Longleat as the guests of local Roatary Clubs were 28 hosted by Westbury. 16 Kids and 5 teachers from Westbury Junior School and 12 Kids with 6 teachers from Westbury Infants School.

We all had a gret time and enjoyed the boat trip on the lake; the ride on the longleat railway; a picnic lunch with a drink and an icecream whilst being enertained by 'Posy & Pip' with their 'Cheeky Monkey'; then the parrot show, the penguins and rays and the small animals (with a chance to hold a tarrantula and a boa constrictor) and finally the Adventure playground. The day ended with a drive through the Safari park and home to school. We all had a super day out.
