Support for Victims of the Manchester Arena Bombing

Manchester Arena Families Trust begins distributing funds

The Manchester Arena Families Trust, which was established by Rotary District 1285 following the devastating bombing on 22nd May, is now in a position to distribute funds.

The district, which includes the city of Manchester and surrounding areas, established the Trust to provide practical help to victims and families of those killed, injured or affected by the attack.

This may include providing funds for transport, respite weekends, tutoring or supporting those suffering from mental trauma.

Those looking to secure funding should fill out the following application form.

Trustee and Rotarian Stan Bowes commented, “We felt, as a district, that we must open this fund in response to the number Rotary clubs and individual Roatrians throughout the country who asked how they could help by using Rotary’s unique networking abilities, linked to the knowledge that no money would be wasted in administration costs.”

Support is also available from Manchester Attack support and the We Love Manchester fund.

We are all volunteers at RotaryNW, and we pay our own running costs from our subs.
