Jean has now spent 5 years raising awareness of Peace and Conflict Resolution across Great Britain and Ireland where her passion is to develop the skills that young people need to allow them to make better life choices with confidence. She is a popular speaker, not afraid to state the problems that young people face whilst inspiring Rotarians to do something about it. Her work of developing Peace and Conflict Resolution was recognised by RIBI when she received a Presidential Citation in 2012. She also became a Paul Harris Fellow for her contribution to developing Peace Strategies
Our first meeting in August 2017 gave Jean the opportunity to address the Club and show the enthusiasm shared by Staff and pupils past and present from Kirkcudbright Academy who have led the way since 2012
We can speak with Community Groups, District and Club Rotarians, organise talks, presentations and training to facilitate the Peace Advocate Programme. We can also train trainers for local sustainability.
