British Fireworks Championships 2017 - Wednesday 9 August 2017
I have been contacted by the Rotary Club of Ivybridge to enquire if any from our Club would like to join them at this event.
They have exclusive use of Victoria House in Cattedown, which has lovely grounds and unrivalled views across the Sound to Mountbatten Island where the fireworks are being let off. It also offers extensive free parking and toilet facilities.
The tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children. You can take a picnic if you wish, but refreshments and a bar will also be available.
Gates open at 7 pm and the fireworks start at 9.30 pm.
Tickets are available from the their website www.ivybridgerotary.co.uk
or by contacting Paul Fletcher - Mob: 07730651543 - paul.fletcher@nhs.net
Last year the event raised £2,700 for charity, which they are hoping to increase.
Their chosen charities are The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer and The Primrose Foundation for Breast Cancer.
It would be good if we could give them support and believe me the fireworks are truly superb!
Anyone going or needing further information, please let me know
Kind regards
Paul
