On 25 June 1938, encouraged by the Rotary Club of Perth and supported by Rotarians from Edinburgh and Glasgow, a group of local businessmen met in the Drummond Arms Hotel in Crieff and agreed to form a new Rotary Club which was eventually granted its charter on 30th October that year.
To celebrate that significant first step, we are holding a special dinner on Tuesday 19th June. Our 2018 Club Assembly means we can't get closer than six days from the actual date, while the state of the poor old Drummond Arms Hotel means that we can't replicate the original venue - but Yann has devised an excellent menu for a 3-course 'Partners-welcome' dinner (attached) for which a reasonable charge of just £25 per head will be made.
To allow time for preprandial drinks and chat from 6.15pm onwards, the meal time on this occasion will commence at 7pm.
