Treasure Trail Challenge 2018 for Cash for Kids

Our third Treasure Trail Challenge was held on 6th September 2018, in aid of 'Cash for Kids'.

This year's Treasure Trail Challenge was held on 6th September, and what a fun and memorable evening it was!

Ten teams scoured the streets of central Glasgow in search of answers to clues that were even more challenging than last year.  The teams were away for between one-and-a-half and two hours.  The answers submitted by the winning team were pretty close to perfect!

Organiser Gordon Fairbrother has given his thanks to the contestants and to all Club members who helped in any way.  Once again, we are eternally grateful to Stephen McFarlane for the painstaking work he put into designing the questions and marking the answers.

In winding up the evening, President Trevor Graham highlighted our desire to attract some of the participants to a new Rotary e-club which is to be affiliated to our Club.

The chosen charity for this year's Treasure Trail Challenge was 'Cash for Kids'.  Felicity Gordon, from Cash for Kids, participated in the Challenge and gave an excellent short talk afterwards to tell us about the charityand to thank the Club and all participants for their generous donation.

A magnificent total of £600 was raised through entry fees and the raffle.
