KHIRJAN BHOJA SAND DAM

KHIRJAN BHOJA SAND DAM

Our partner in Rajasthan has sent the attached video this morning – showing water flowing down river and the dam already beginning to capture sand and water, from recent rains. We hope to have photographs to follow soon and, as soon as we do, we will provide you (and the other Clubs that have contributed to this project) with a report that you can share with Club members and anyone who contributed to your fundraising effort.

Our partner has apologised profusely for not having managed to send something sooner. Their Director – who is our main point of contact – advised in her email that she recently lost her father and it has taken her some time to return to work.

Thank you so much for your significant contribution to this project, on behalf of us all at Excellent and, of course, on behalf of the community who will benefit from the access to safe water that the Khirjan Bhoja sand dam will provide. I hope you, and the other members of Reading Rotary Club, will be pleased to see the completed dam in action and I’ll look forward to sharing more with you as soon as we receive it.
