What a super evening - it was great fun!  It kicked off with the age old favourite, 'There's a hole in my Bucket'.  Then Sandy recited a poem that he and Liz had composed, using all the Rotarian's names.  Douglas encouraged us to sing along and Alistair sang an old traditional song.  Gordon and his Cronies gave us their version of 'On Ilkley Moor Bar Tat', followed by Jim's rousing rendition of a popular folk song.  Matt recited a poem of his own composition about the new bridge, which had an ironic but funny ending of the state of Scottish industry.  A skiffle band made up of Norman and Stuart on the tea chest gave us a soulful rendition of Sixteen Tons.  The whole evening was rounded off with a hilarious sketch about the problems of phoning a call centre if you have an Aberdonian accent, Graham was the caller and Neil the call centre worker.  Prizes were given to all entertainers for their great work.

There was a great buzz in the club afterwards, there had been so much laughter and we were all royally entertained - everyone agreed we should definitely re-instate the Rammy Evening.

Our thanks must go to the Social Committtee of Robbie, David, Robert, Enrico and Gordon.
