Paul Harris Awards

An Award given to honour a person for the services they have rendered normally to the public

Paul Harris is regarded as our founding father and set the standards that Rotary should endeavour to achieve. Therefore it seems appropriate that those members or persons who the Rotary Club regard as having accomplished a very high level of service should receive a Special Award in his memory

Mel appears to have wiped out  President Brian Westwood in his excitement of receiving his Paul Harris Award. It was at the end of Brians term of office and and a fitting opportunity to present the Award to a very deserving, hard working Rotarian.

The President Brian also awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship Award to our Treasurer Don, who has due to his excellent skills ensured that the funds to carry out the numerous charity donations for many years has always been available. His expertise in finance has also been of great benefit to other associated organisations which is useful in a Rotary Club
