Nepal water project

We have raised finance for a water supply project in Nepal since the club started, and continue to do so.

So many of us take water for granted: it arrives in a tap, it is drinkable, it used for washing and many other applications in most of the civilised world.

Poundbury Rotary Club held a quiz night on Friday May 12th at the Brownsword Hall, Poundbury. The quiz as always was a bit different, written not by one person, but by some of the members! Tables of six quizzers filled the Brownsword Hall on the night and took part in the quiz, and the chocolate raffle. All the profits go to The Nepal Water Project (90%) with 10% going to the Rotary Foundation (which supports many such projects world-wide).

The event raised the sum of £750
