President Gordon Burgess welcomed nine other members, and announced with great regret the resignation from the club of past president Bryan Wight for personal reasons.
Bryan was a member for nearly 22 years, served for several years as secretary, and was president from 2009-10.
The weekly raffle for a whisky miniature was won by Alastair Wilson, and there was an extra closing toast . . . to the newly appointed — and newly married — Earl and Countess of Dumbarton.
