President Gordon Burgess welcomed fourteen other members and a guest — his best man, Michael Green.
Community service convener Bill Deans reported that the very successful wine tasting by Ellie's Cellar in the Commodore Hotel in aid of the local branch of Alzheimers Scotland had raised some £600, and expressed his thanks to organiser Dave Campbell for his enthusiastic hard work and to the donors of raffle prizes.
Adam Muggoch said that he expected a good attendance at the annual Young Musician competition in Lomond School at 7pm tomorrow, and Alstair Wilson said that he had to have received all orders for smoked salmon and trout under the Mid-Argyll Rotary Club project by this evening.
Michael Green made the draw for the weekly raffle for a whisky miniature — and pulled out the name of Gordon Burgess.
