Jun 2017 Litterpickingin Histon/Girton/Oakington area

Sat, Jun 3rd 2017 at 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Come and help - book in with David Adamson for kit.

Our Environmental Officer has been busy again liaising with Sustainable Histon to help support their community project. They aim to keep the hedgerows and roads around and between local villages clear of dangerous and unsightly rubbish.  A job that is needed every few months.

The Club now have a range of high vis tabards, bag hoops and picking sticks available to us - including junior sized.

Book in with David for some kit and bring sensible shoes, robust gloves and sunhats as appropriate.

We meet in the quiet roads next to the Gretton School on the road between Girton and Oakington - loads of parking spaces.

If you pick another time suitable for you then please report numbers of black bags filled to David  - and take photos for the website and social media pages and send to Stef, Amber and Sian asap.

If you know of another area of the county in need of clearing please let David know so he can investigate and organise appropriately.
