Rotary club of Stirling meeting of 12th January 2018.

President Stewart Wilson welcomed members to a business meeting following last week's meeting of club council.  Members approved donations from the charity account to Castleview school, Forth Valley disability group and Riverside school. We were reminded that our Scot's night will be held on 23rd March.  The Treasurers report up to 8th January was received by the members. There was some discussion of the Arion bus, taking handicapped youngsters to swimming, with which we have a two year commitment. We now have found sufficient drivers, but there was feeling that Stirling Council might be asked to make some financial commitment to this useful community service, and this will be taken up with them. The next Rotary district meeting will be in Perth on 23rd March.
