Stirling Rotary Meeting , Friday 17th. November 2017
President Stewart Wilson welcomed members to this Special General Meeting. There were no visitors. The Christmas collection will take place in the Thistle Centre on December 23rd., between 10 and 4. All volunteers will be appreciated. Members’ details will be sent to the railway company, Abellio, to keep their records straight and ensure we have the proper authorisations for our station work.
Sandy Farquharson will become president In July, when Stewart steps down and all members wish him success. The posts of Junior and Senior Vice Presidents remain to be filled and nominations are requested.
There will be no Friday meeting this week, in light of the Presidents Evening on Thursday. This will take place at the Stirling Highland Hotel, 7.00 for 7.30, dress formal. More information on Stirling Rotary can be found on the club site www.stirling.rotary1010.org.
