St George's Day Celebration 2018

Raising charity funds at Olympus Fish & Chips Restaurant

April 2017 £1,100 raised which was shared with the Salvation Army and Fortalice Women's Refuge Centre


On Saturday 22nd April 2017 we ran our third St George's Day Celebration evening in the Olympus Fish & Chip Restaurant in Bolton. Over 100 people attended and it was organised by club member Harry Grundy, see his message below:

'On behalf of the Rotary club of Bolton daybreak, can I take this opportunity to thank Tasos and all is staff at the Olympus restaurant, for looking after us so well at our annual St Georges night celebration. It was a fantastic night for all who attended,and we were truly entertained by our guest speaker Ray Jefferson, and Farnworth performing arts choir.'

Monies raised was £1,100. which will be divided between the Salvation Army and Fortalice Women's Refuge Centre, a great night thank you.
