A sponsored walk with a difference!!!!!

The Twin Peaks Challenge was a sponsored Charity Walk by Claverhouse Rotary Club in aid of Dundee Young Carers - Saturday and Sunday 10 and 11 June 2017 - and it is hoped to raise £6000.  Walkers doing the whole walk trained at DW Sports Gym which kindly offered a temporary membership to train.  One of the walkers was ex-army infantryman Ryan Byrne who is also a trained PTI and he set about knocking the team into shape in  preparation for a challenging walk.  He proved to be  a hard taskmaster. The walkers suffered somewhat with heavy downpours but spirits remained high throughout the event.   A welcoming party in Camperdown Park, Dundee, was enjoyed by all.  You can still sponsor the event by using the link below.
