A bit more about our Trust Fund


The Trust Fund was founded in October 1972 to accumulate funds from Rotarians and other Benefactors and to distribute to various worthy causes.


The Fund is a Registered Charity No. 801551 and its brief to the Charity Commissioners is to use funds raised for charitable purposes in the following categories:


  • Educational & Training
  • The Advancement of Health or the Saving of Lives
  • Disability
  • The Prevention or Relief of Poverty
  • Overseas Aid / Famine relief
  • Accommodation / Housing
  • And Other General Charitable Purposes


Objectives


The Charity Fund objectives are to help:


  • Children/Young People
  • Elderly/Old People
  • People with Disabilities
  • Other Charitable or Voluntary Bodies
  • The General Public/Mankind


The Trustees carry out these objectives by:


  • Making Grants to Individuals
  • Making Grants to Organisations
