A total of nineteen people consisting of Rotarians and guests were treated to a gourmet evening in the restaurant at Llandrillo College.
After pre-dinner drinks in the waiting area we were ushered through to the main dining room for our meals.
The theme for the evening was "Foods of Europe", consisting of French onion soup followed by gnocchi in a blue cheese sauce. The main course was chicken breast wrapped in bacon, stuffed with haggis and a whisky sauce. A trio of desserts was capped off wth petit fours and coffee or tea,
The whole meal was delicious, cooked by the catering students and enjoyed by everyone whilst the students waited on eagerly and efficiently ever anxious to please.
A superb night with good fellowship and of course the added bonus of an excellent repast.
Thanks must go to Andrew Brown for liaising with the college and helping to organise the night.
