Talk to Crieff Rotary Club by Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh M.P.

TAS gave a frenetic presentational talk outlining her background, her family and her role as M.P. for Ochil and South Perthshire.

Married at the age of 19 years, Tasmina has 4 children and tries to fit in a hectic married life with the vagaries of being a Westminster M.P., although a recent family trip to Dysneyland Paris was spoiled when someone stole her wrist watch.

Having endeared herself (?) to the club by stating that : “ Men are better off in the kitchen “ Tasmina embarked on a serious bit of ‘name dropping’ (… Madeleine Albrighton, George Bush and the Speaker of the Commons, John Bercow to name but few )

What next for our peripatetic M.P. ? Well New York beckons for a Scottish Exhibition where she will meet up with the First Minister and other Scottish political acolytes. 

Interesting talk with the club being on good behaviour by not asking any difficult questions at the end. Vote of thanks by the President.
