Erith Fun Day 2016

A fun day was had by all!

This year’s event, held for the first time at the Erith Recreational Ground, proved to be another outstanding success. This was an opportunity for whole families to come together and enjoy the delights that the day had to offer. Despite the windy conditions, the sun continued to shine and everyone had a great time. From bouncy castles to a wonderful array of stalls, there was something for everyone. To add to this, we were treated to a range of performers who demonstrated their talents for us in our arena.

Enormous thanks must go to the organising committee. This was made up of members of the local community as well as Rotarians and together, they all worked so hard to ensure that the day was such a success. We are also grateful for the support that we received from the business community and the likes of St. John’s Ambulance who made sure that we all stayed safe.

This really was a great example of community at its best and will certainly be a hard act to follow but as they say, watch this space……..!
