Speaker– Fiona Campbell – RYLA (The Ripple Effect)
Fiona attended RYLA Girls camp in 1997 and has maintained a close relationship with RYLA, particularly in the last 5 years, assisting as a motivational speaker and mentor to the students. The skills she and those attending achieve can be summarised, as under:
· Ice Breaking
· Friendship & Relationship Building
· Conquering Fears
· Attempting New Things
· Leadership, and above all
· CONFIDENCE
Since attending RYLA herself, Fiona has a full time career in Management, she’s been a Cricketer for Scotland (2002-2012) and since giving up cricket she’s become Ladies Champion Golfer (2014 & 2016) and joined Ellon RC as an Associate Member (AM). John E on behalf of the Club thanked Fiona for her inspirational talk and noted with interest how AM has developed in the Ellon Club, growing from 2/3 members initially to 8 now.
