The Club BBQ
This year's club BBQ was a great success. The evening was hosted by Norman and Sue and organised by a crack team headed up by Mike Dorward with James as adviser. The cooking was in the capable hands of Hugh, Neale, and Robin. Mike Gilbert made sure that none of us was left thirsty. The accompaniments to the meat and the strawberries were all prepared by Rotarian's partners. Many thanks to them all for laying on such an excellent spread. After all the food had been consumed it was time for the club's annual Presidential Handover. After a vote of thanks to outgoing President from David Howard, Llyn thanked the council and all the members of the club for their contribution to a most enjoyable and successful year. This was followed by an exchange of Rotary regalia and a photo call. Thanks to all the people that made the evening such a success including our generous suppliers Tesco, Squire's bakery and The Hungerford Butchers.
