Nov 2016 Usborne Dictionaries Presentation - Girton Glebe Primary School

Wed, Nov 30th 2016 at 9:00 am - 10:00 am

the Glebe delighted to receive 8 lovely quality books

Today the Girton Glebe Primary School arranged a presentation ceremony during their morning assembly - Rtns Alan Franklin and Sian Franklin handed over 8 lovely, colourful Usborne Illustrated Dictionaries as a present from the Cambridge South Rotary Club.  This fitted extremely well with their Roal Dahl Book Week.

The dictionaries in their library are currently at the end of their life so they were delighted to receive the books and would welcome more if that were possible.  They plan to give one to each classroom initially.

Alan did a brief explanation of Rotary and how useful it is to dip into the dictionaries to learn about new words.
